Sufi Shaikh teaching to his mureed.... My son, if you catch a snake and want to keep it, you must remove its poisonous teeth.Though it may still hiss and strike out at you, it will not be able to harm you. But do not bring up the frenzied arrogance of anger which is like a poisonous snake. It will strike out at you continually in an effort to kill you-and not only you, but others as well. You will earn the enmity of the world and your life will be in constant danger. If you pick up that snake of anger with wisdom and throw it away, you will receive only love from all lives.... (From The Golden Words of a Sufi Sheikh, by Qutb M. R. Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.))
