STORY BY HAZRAT M. R BAWA MUHIAYADDEEN R.A Once a dog said to a crow,“l want to go to a place where .l can find enough water to satisfy my thirst, enough to drink in big mouth fuls. So far I have only been able to lick water from puddles. and my carving has not been satisfied.” The crow led him to a huge lake and watched as the dog lapped at the water. The crow was surprised. “Why are you still licking the water? There is plenty of water here. Why don’t you take big mouthfuls?” The dog replied sadly,“only today have I realized the curb of the saying: No matter where a dog goes, it has to lick in order to drink water." ********* From the book THE GOLDEN WORDS OF SUFI SHEIKH
