Dr. Allama Iqbal Tomb is situated at the grandest and most regal cultural site of Pakistan, right between the Badshahi Mosque and Shahi Qila Lahore. At the time of his demise, Allama Iqbal was already a huge public figure among Muslims as well as Non-Muslims of Indian Subcontinent. Thousand of people attended his Namaz-e-Jinaza. Iqbal’s Mazaar remains one of the most visited sites of Lahore where thousands of admirers pay to visit their homage to the great philosopher who was the first person to present the idea of Pakistan. Iqbal’s tomb is a rectangular shaped room is built right in the middle of the garden between the two great Mughal monuments. The interior walls has inscribed with poet’s Persian verses.
