Hazrat Halima was Prophet Muhammad's SAW nurse. In those times, women of Banu Saad tribe used to take children for nursing and also teach them arabic. Since Muhammad SAW was orphan, other nurses did not take him as they were worried that who will pay them salary. Hazrat Halima was a kind hearted woman and asked her husband for permission if she becomes wet nurse of orphan Muhammad SAW without salary. Halima's husband was a kind person and agreed. Due to Muhammad's blessed presence, their flock started producing milk at the time of famine, when other nurses have no milk with their cattle. Feeding Prophet Muhammad SAW, she always observed the blessing his being brought to her family. Prophet Muhammed SAW had great respect and love for Hazrat Halima.
