The Most Supreme Being of Allah Subhanwatallah is above and beyond all Ibadah. He does not need to say Salaat [Namaz] or Fast in Ramadan Himself. But Allah Subhanwatallah himself sends blessing on Muhammad SAW and orders Angels to do the same. It also shows the importance of Darood Sharif as part of our prayers. Allah and His Angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him and salute him with all respect. Surah Ahzaab verse 56 Naat Sharif is also a way to send blessing on Prophet Muhammad SAW.
