Shaykh Faridudin Attar Nishapuri R.A A man cut down a tree one day. A Sufi visiting nearby said to him: ‘Look at the fresh branch that is yet fresh and happy, unaware that it has been cut off the tree now’. ‘One can be ignorant of the damage one have suffered, but there would be time when he realizes the truth. Meanwhile one cannot reason with it and understand it’ This severance and ignorance is the current state of human beings..... For more click our website link: http://ift.tt/2fQZ1BC

Hazrat Sahl ibn Abd Allah al-Tostari R.A After Hazrat Sahls death, one of his disciples was sitting by his grave when the same man passed by. Sir, the disciple addressed him, the shaikh who lies in this tomb once said that you hold a secret. By that God who has vouchsafed this secret to you, make me a demonstration. The man pointed to Sahls grave. Sahl, speak!he said. A voice spoke loudly within the tomb. There is no god but God alone, Who has no partner. They say, said the man, that whosoever believes that there is no god but God, there is no darkness for him in the grave. Is that true or no? Sahl cried from the grave, It is true! A Bedouin came to Rasool-ul-Allah S.A.W. and said that he has little prayers and fasts, but he loved Prophet and want to be with him in Paradise. Prophet S.A.W smiled and replied, "All of us will be with whom we love". When Abu Bakr heard Prophet this saying, the greatest Ashiq-e-Rasool, he went to ecstasy and start Whirling. Naqshbandi Sufi Order stems from Hazrat Abu Bakr, the first whirling Sufi of Islam. I had the honour to be invited by Shaykh Nazim (May Allah bless his soul) who were the head of Naqshbandi Order. Walk along it unnoticed, Stealing past the priests. They protest, they obstruct, They persecute people who really love God. Let us go and live somewhere, Bahu, Where no one but God holds supremacy.

Hazrat Abu Bakr prayed at night and used to recite the Quran in a low voice, whereas Hazrat Umar used to recite in a loud voice. Prophet S.A.W asked Abu Bakr why he did this. Abu Bakr replied: “He with whom I converse will hear.” Umar, in his turn, replied: “I wake the drowsy and drive away the Devil”. Abu Bakr gave a token of contemplation, the other of purification. Now purification, compared with contemplation, is like a drop of water in a sea, and for this reason the Apostle said that ‘Umar, the glory of Islam, was only (equivalent to) a single one of the good deeds of Abu Bakr (hal anta ilia hasanat min hasanati Abi Bakr). - Narrative from Kashf Majoob by Data Sahib Hazrat Ali Hujvairi. Hazrat Sultan Bahoo was a Muslim Sufi and saint, who founded the Sarwari Qadiri sufi order. His Punjabi sufi poetry has been very popular in Punjab and has been performed by many artists in form of Kaafi and Qawwali. One of the distinguishing feature of Sultan Bahu’s Kalaam is the word ‘hoo’ or ‘hu’ coming at the end of his verses, which has a strong ecstatic effect on the audience and is considered as a means of spiritual connection to the divinity...... Tere Ishq Nachaya is regarded as Bulleh Shah best loved and most known poems. Bulleh Shah was of Syed caste and his Peer o Murshid Shah Anayat was of lower Arayin caste, who often worked in fields as laborers. Bulleh Shah rebelled against caste system and fought via his poetry to spread message of humanity, tolerance and love. Story goes that facing opositions from Bulleh Shah’s family, Shah Arayin became decided to leave Bulleh Shah. Bulleh Shah went after him and started dancing with ghungaroo in the street, something associated with lowest Kanjar castes, just to make his Peer pleased with him, and indeed he was successful. This magical story was immortalized in his verses: Kanjari Baniya Meri Izzat Na Ghatdee Meinoo Nach Me Yaar Manawan De Today for such wisdom, he is respected equally by Hindu, Sikhs, Muslims and Christians of South Asia and beyond. 9th November is birthday of Allama Iqbal, National Poet of Pakistan Handwritten script of Allama Iqbal Baal-e-Jibreel [Wings of Gabriel] was after Bang-e-Dara was a real leap for Iqbal. It’s where Khudi is unleashed and the real journey begins. It is not surprising that he named his compilation Nishaan-e-Manzil initially. As seen in the first image below, he crossed that out to make it Baal-e-Jibreel, where Khudi takes flight with wings of Gabriel, which according to Hadith are enormous to fly across worlds and universes. It is said that Mughal Emperor Jalaluddin Mohammad Akbar asked Tansen, his court singer and one of his ‘nine jewels,’ if he was the most melodious person on earth. Tansen responded that his mentor Swami Haridas was one. Akbar expressed his desire to have Swami Haridas in his court but Haridas was fond of seclusion and didn’t prefer being in royal courts. The emperor was left with no other option but to visit Haridas’ monastery himself. Akbar waited for days but Haridas wouldn’t sing. As Tansen had said, Haridas sang only when it pleased him. At last, Tansen thought of doing something about it — he started singing and deliberately hit a wrong note in between. Haridas wouldn’t remain silent anymore. To correct Tansen, he started to sing. And everyone, including Akbar, was in an awe of his mesmerising voice. “Tansen! You were right, Swami Haridas is the most melodious singer in this world," Akbar admitted. "This is because he sings when he hearts says, not per command of emperor like myself" responded Tansen. Download beautiful SUFI MUSIC FROM INDIA at http://ift.tt/2fq06gx
