Hazrat Hafiz R.A l have learned so much from God that I can no longer call myself a Christian, a Hindu, a Muslim, a Buddhist, a Jew. The Truth has shared so much of Itself with me that I can no longer call myself a man, a woman, an angel, or even a pure Soul. Love has befriended me so completely it has turned to ash and freed me of every concept and image my mind has ever known......

The Spiritual Meeting of Khawaja Moinudin Chishti RA, Ali Hajvairi [Daata Sahib] RA & Allama Iqbal - Narrated by Dr. Javed Iqbal https://goo.gl/gdMMsB "Ali Baksh, Allama’s faithful house keeper narrates that he came to Allama room one night to check him and found that he was sitting at the feet of a graceful elderly person. Allama asked Ali Baksh to fetch some Lassi for the guest. Ali Baksh went away but it was late at night and couldn’t find one. He finally found a faint little of a shop where he bought the things. When Ali tried to pay, the shopkeeper simply refused payment that we have a ‘silsila’ [special relation] with Iqbal and his Guest. Ali Baksh served the lassi drinks which both drank. Allama’s guest left but Allama called Ali Bakhsh go and fetch him again. Ali Baksh went to the door and was surprised to see that door was actually locked from inside. He went to Allama and explained but Allama went quiet. Ali insisted many times to reveal the name of the guest and Allama revealed on condition that he will keep it secret during lifetime [which Ali Bakhah did]. Allama revealed to Ali Baksh that the guest was Khwaja Moindudin Chishti of Ajmer Shareef and the shopkeeper who entertained them none other than Hazrat Ali Hajveri aka Daata Sahib of Lahore." #ajmer #allamaiqbal

The story goes that a Sufi master used to manage food distribution (langar) for needy at a shrine. Once he had to visit another city and asked one of his pupils to manage langar in his absence. His pupil, wise and astute Sufi himself, asked him, "Do you want to distribute using Allah's way or Muhammad S.A.W. way". The Sufi teacher was puzzled but thought there is nothing greater than Allah, so he told him to follow that. When the Sufi master returned, he was shocked to see a complete chaos. Some people went without food, while others have to sleep starved and deprived. He called for his Pupil whom he delegated this and asked how did he manage the distribution in his absence. "As you said, I used the distribution way of Allah", replied the wise pupil. "Since he is Al-Samad (be-niyaaz in Urdu) , there were people who have wasted, while others went with hunger" The master smiled and advised, "Next time please follow Muhamad S.A.W's distribution since we humans can indeed never have such divine characteristic". http://ift.tt/2gXMtWt

Hazrat Abu Bakr prayed at night and used to recite the Quran in a low voice, whereas Hazrat Umar used to recite in a loud voice. Prophet S.A.W asked Abu Bakr why he did this. Abu Bakr replied: “He with whom I converse will hear.” Umar, in his turn, replied: “I wake the drowsy and drive away the Devil”. Abu Bakr gave a token of contemplation, the other of purification. Now purification, compared with contemplation, is like a drop of water in a sea, and for this reason the Apostle said that ‘Umar, the glory of Islam, was only (equivalent to) a single one of the good deeds of Abu Bakr (hal anta ilia hasanat min hasanati Abi Bakr). - Narrative from Kashf Majoob by Data Sahib Hazrat Ali Hujvairi. Hazrat Sultan Bahoo was a Muslim Sufi and saint, who founded the Sarwari Qadiri sufi order. His Punjabi sufi poetry has been very popular in Punjab and has been performed by many artists in form of Kaafi and Qawwali. One of the distinguishing feature of Sultan Bahu’s Kalaam is the word ‘hoo’ or ‘hu’ coming at the end of his verses, which has a strong ecstatic effect on the audience and is considered as a means of spiritual connection to the divinity......
