Mohammad Rafi is considered to be one of the greatest Indian playback singers of all time in Hindi Film Industry. Rafi Sahib was very humble person, who worked as barber in Lahore before moving to Mumbai! Rafi Sahab was approached by a local Mosque for donation for Jaye-e-Namaz (Prayer Matts). Despite his fame, he promised to knit the matt with his own hands. It was not complete, before Rafi Sahab passed away. His Namaz-e-Jinanza (Funeral Prayers) were performed on this incomplete matt.
