He (God) was in no other Place Cross and Christians, end to end, I examined. He was not on the Cross. I went to the Hindu Temple, to the ancient pagoda. In none of them there was any sign. To the heights of Herat I went and to Kandhar, I looked. He was not on the elevation not on the low lands. Resolutely I went to summit of the fabulous mountain of Ka’af. There was only the dwelling of the Anqa bird.I went to Kaaba at Mecca. He was not there. I asked him from Avicenna the philosopher. He was beyond the range of Avicenna, I looked into my own heart. In that place I saw him. He was in no other place. Download Rumi's most authentic Quotes & Poem in English at http://ift.tt/1gaYSpY #rumi #sufism

May Allah bless his soul for so his love and generosity. Amen. Rafi also performed some beautiful Naat in his melodious voice, which are loved in both India & Pakistan. Story behind Bulleh Shahs "Tere Ishq Nachaya, Karke Thaiya Thaiya" Bulleh Shah was a Noble Syed [descendant of the Prophet Muhammad], while his Mentor Shah Anayat was Arayein, a cast associated with agriculture and considered not as noble in those days. Bulleh Shah family got offended by his love and respect for Shah Anayat. Hence, they sent a group of respected elder sisters and sisters-in-law to convince him. Bulleh Shah wrote a beautiful poem on this: "Bulleh no Samjhavan Aiyan, Pehnaan te Parajayan" Manle Bulleya saada kehnaa, chud de palla Raiyan" Translation: Bulleh Shah's sisters and sister-in-law come to persuade him Bulleh, listen to our advice, and forbid the company of Arain (Shah Anayat)!" When Shah Anayat heard about this event, he thought of leaving Bulleh to avoid him facing more hardship from his family. But how could Bulleh leave his beloved Spiritual Guide and Peer? Bulleh followed Shah Anayat and in attempt to cheer him started dancing publicly with the his most famous poem. TheSufi.com wishes everyone the most blessed Eid. When making new clothes, let's remember that beggar in the street with torn attires. When eating food, don't forget to share a little from that with birds and ants and other creation of Allah. The real Eid is not earning ourselves, but sharing it with other also.

Hazrat Amir Khusrow is unarguably one of the greatest masters of Persian verse. Upon hearding Hazrat Shaykh Saadi’s simple Persian verses in praise of Prophet Muhammad below, Hazrat Amir Khusro exclaimed that he can easily produce better verses in praise of the Prophet. Balaghal ula Be Kamalihi Kasha Fadduja Bijamalihi Khasunat Jamiu Hisaalihi Sallu Aleyhee Wa Aalihi Hazrat Amir Khusro had a dream last night that Prophet is surrounded by his admirers and Hazrat Shaykh Saadi is reciting these verses in this sacred company. After such dream, Hazrat Amir Khusro repented and took such words back.
