Hazrat Rumi R.A You look through my two eyes, you are closer to me than myself Your light shines brighter than the moon Come into the garden so that the glory of the rose garden is humbled that it may be more beautiful and blooming than a hundred gardens and rosebeds so that the cedar will hide its height in shame that the tongue of the lily will declare you more lily than itself When you are kind, you are the candle of the soul, soft and pliable as wax When you are aloof, you are more iron than iron... WHY THE SUFIS HIDES THEMSELF Rumi’s son asked him: ‘How and why is the dervish hidden? Is this done by superficial disguise? Is there something within himself which he conceals?' The Master said: ‘It might be done in any way. Some write love-poems, and people think that they mean ordinary love. The dervish may hide his true position in the Way by adopting a calling. There are writers; and some, like Baba Farid, are traders. Still others follow various different outer activities. ‘This may be done for the sake of defence against the shallow. Some purposely act in a manner which society might disapprove. ‘The Prophet has therefore said: “God has hidden the Men of Greatest Knowledge' Read more Sufi Stories at https://ift.tt/2zTI0zu

Nusrat Sahib was true ‘Master of All’ music trades. When he performed ghazals like Yeh Jo Halka Halka Suroor, music legends like Mehdi Hassan were blown away. Then take Hamd and Naat. His Wohi Khuda Hai were an instant sensation.and he joined the ranks of legendary Hamd and Naat Khawan Qari Waheed Zafar. And then Arfana Kalam such as Baba Farid’s Turiya Turiya Ja Farida. Although Abida Parveen differed with NFAK regarding using western percussions, when it comes to vocal quality, she admitted no one paralleled Nusrat Sahib. It’s difficult to imagine Qawwali without Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Sahib. And there is no Qawwal whom he has not inspired in one way or another. 100+ tracks of Nusrat Fateh Ali at https://ift.tt/2AkT3AP

Nami Danam Che Manzil Bood by Sabri Brothers I don’t know which station I reached the other night Victims of the Dance of Slaughter lay everywhere, where I was the other night There was a nymph-like Beloved with a cypress-like form And a tulip-like face, making lover hearts to suffer Where I was the other night, rivals competed with their voices He was full of coquetry, and I was filled with fear It was so impossible to say, where I was the other night God Himself presided over such gathering, and Khusrau was in la makan [spacelessness] Muhammad (SAW) was the Burning Candle of such assembly That lit up the gathering, where I was the other night. https://ift.tt/2Ixw4s2

THE THREE GREAT JOURNEYS OF THE SUFIS. There are certain Sufis who speak of the Path as consisting of three journeys: 3.) Sayr "ani "llah - 'Journey from God'. This is the journey back to the world of manifestation invested with the attributes of God. It is the stage of baqa "subsistence after fanah annihilation . The author of Gulshan-i-Raz, thus discribes it: "He obtains baqah, subsistence, after fand, annihilation. He returns to the Source from the end of his journey by another way. He puts on the Law as a garment and then wraps about it the robe of the Mystic Path. But know that Truth itself is the Station of his nature, the connecting link between unbelief (kufr) and Belief (Imaan). **For more about sufism click our website link: www.thesufi.com
