Short Story by Hazrat Faridi-ul-Din Attar R.A One day Dhu-l-Nun reached a canal, where he performed his ablutions. He saw a beautiful palace situated close to the bank of the canal, on the balcony of which stood a very beautiful woman. Dhu-I-Nun asked her to speak to him. She said, “When I saw you at a distance, I felt you were a madman; when you came closer, I saw you were a learned man; when you came closer still I considered you to be an enlightened soul. But now you have spoken to me I cansider you none of these.” Dhu-l-Nun asked her why she felt so. She replied, “If you were mad, you would not perform ablutions; if you were learned, you would not look at me; if you were enlightened, you would cast your glance at God and none besides.” Saying this, she disappeared....... Phool Ki Patee Se Katt Sakta Hai Heeray Ka Jigar Mard e Naadaan Pe Kalam e Narm o Nazuq Be-Asar “A flower petal may cut the diamond, But subtle poetry will not have any effect on an ignorant person” - Bartari Hari Allama Iqbal was hugely impressed with the poetry of Bartari Hari. ‘Bal-Jibreel’ opens with these verses of Bartari Harl.Bartari Hari was an ancient king of Malwa. In youth the Raja was devoted to luxury, wine, and women. He had a beautiful queen who found about his infidelity and committed suicide. After some time he married another lady. The Raja decided to put her to test. Read full story at http://ift.tt/2kHt8ff

Translation: Some people are awake, some don't know how to wake up, some are awake only in their dreams. A few get robbed in their seeming wakefulness, while others merge in God as they sleep to the world. Just as owls hoot using the in-breath, so do some people repeat God’s name with the in-breath. But they are blind to Reality, just as owls are to daylight. I make myself a sacrifice to anyone, O Bahu, who toils hard at realizing God’s love.....

Hailing from Faisalabad, the city of Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali, he is admired and revered across the industry for his hardwork. Mohsin's voice is part of Mazaaqraat, the biggest comedy show in Pakistan, and his Uddi Jaa at Coke Studio was probably the best song of the season. Hazrat Kabir Sahib... Haman hai ishq mastaana haman ko hoshiyaari kya. Translation: I am bursting in love, what is the use of being clever or smart? I am ever free in this world; I need not any friendship in this world. Those who are separated from the Beloved, wander here and there aimlessly. My Beloved is within me, there is no need to keep waiting. Now my Beloved doesn't leave me for a single moment, nor am I separated from my Beloved anytime. My love is forever towards my Beloved (who is always by my side), why should I feel restless? Kabir is forever intoxicated in love. He says - drop the duality from your heart and behold the unity. If you want to walk on the narrow path (the spiritual path is said to be very narrow) you shouldn't keep any heavy burden on your head.

About Sarkar Amir Khusroo R.A.. I weep separately, the heavens separately, the beloved separately! In the beginning there is an end, yet in the end there is no beginning. And far away from the logic of beginning and end there is a kingdom of heart, a realm of soul and Love. A garden of seclusion, with sprouting flowers of solitude, aloof skies and silent streams. Where heavens pour the rain of love, and love trancedents into soul to unite it with the universe. Hush and calm. World of Khusrau is one such place. It’s an oasis of the light amidst the encroaching dark of world. Slow words, rippling sounds, soulful strings, enchanting lines, witty exchanges the ‘Tuu-tee-e-Hind’ has his pen’s ink splashed over the hearts of generations. Khusrau’s discourse of love through his poems has always had innermost impact on the hearts of wise. His verses have been an intoxicant to cure the pain of lovers in separation. Even now, his palliative poetry plays Jesus for the incurable. At this moment in time, I wander in the land of Khusrau, chanting the eulogy of beloved and songs of longing, of separation. And the verses of Khusrau put me into a trance, love brings me wings, I fly… the flight of separation. Abr mi barad-o man shovm-e az yar-e judaa Choon kunam dil becheneen roz zedildar judaa. The clouds weep, as I become separated from the beloved, How can my heart split from the beloved in such enchanting rain? Abr baraan wa man-o yar satadah ba-widaa Man judaa girya kunaan, abr judaa, yaar judaa Heavens pour the rain of tears as the beloved walks away, I weep separately, the heavens separately, the beloved separately. Sabza nou khaiz-o hawa khurram-o bustan sarsabz Bulbul e roo-e-siyah manda ze gulzar juda Enlivening is the breeze and lush green the garden, But alas! the nightingale of this dark-faced lover is far away. Husn-e tu daer napayad chun ze Khusro rafti Gul basay daer namanad chun shud az khar juda That bewitching beauty will not last long kept away from Khusrau, Flower will soon wither when plucked away from the thorn. Ameer Khusrau 13th century Sufi poet..

Sufi Short Story Pir asked Abu Sa‘id whether he wanted to talk to God. “Of course I want to.” “Then whenever you are by yourself, recite, ‘Without Thee, O Beloved, I cannot rest; Thy goodness toward me I cannot reckon. Though every hair on my body becomes a tongue, a thousandth part of the thanks due to Thee I cannot tell.”

Beautiful kalam written by Hazrat Amir Khusroo in the praise of his Murshid Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia R.A on the eve of Basant.... Sakal ban phool rahi sarson, Umbva boray, tesu phulay, Koyal bolay daar daar, Aur gori karat singaar, Malaniyan gadhwa lay aayin karson, Tarah tarah kay phool lagaaye, Lay gadhwa haathan mein aaye. Nijamudin kay darwajay par, Aawan keh gaey Shokh Rung, Aur beet gaye barson. Translation The yellow mustard seeds bloom in every field, Mango buds click open, flame of the forest trees blossom, The koyal chirps from branch to branch, And the fair maiden puts on her make-up, The gardener-girls have brought bouquets, With assorted flowers in arrangements, Devotees arrive, bouquets in hand, To Nizamuddin's doorstep, But Shokh Rung, who had promised to come, Hasn't turned up - its been many years.
